A KING IS BORN! When we think of a king, the first thing that comes to mind is usually the ruler of a country. The words “A king is born” produce great rejoicing and celebration throughout the world. Banners are hung and feasts are prepared. People temporarily stop their regular daily routine in order to clean up, dress up, and do their own part to add to the momentous occasion. Jesus Christ is the greatest King that was, or ever will be, born. He came, not to rule a country, but to rule the entire world with His Love. Christ came into the world very humbly, being born amidst animals, hay, and dirt, and his parents were not wealthy people. This baby, however, was God Himself, and He grew up to give His life for all the people of the world.
